An opportunity to join people all over the world celebrating the child and at the same time benefit the children of Guatemala.
On November 20th of each year, many countries in the world observe the day that the United Nations adopted the convention on the rights of the child. One of those rights is the child's right to play. Play develops their creativity and flexibility and their ability to deal with stress and bounce back from difficult circumstances.
Niños del Lago has selected Nov. 20th as a day to spread the word about a unique humanitarian project created to help transfrom the lives of Guatemala's 'forgotten" children.
